Yap strongly agrees with your opinion girls. It is true that trip to Jamaica is great opportunity for ECE or other professional because you learn many new things about the education system in Jamaica. Plus you can learn about the century and lifestyle of the people. Also, by going to the Jamaica ECE we can pass our knowledge and skills to the educator in there. Also teach the young children so many new things such as games, activities and etc. Since I started ECE in 2009 I always want to go on this trip but always something come up. At the end I never went. I hope somewhere in the future I really want to go on this trip.

Thanks Luxshana for your comment, you do learn new things about how the education system works and the lifestyle is also somewhat different from the Canadian lifestyle, but learn the different sides of it . We support the educator in the classrooms and help them with whatever they need us to do. Hopefully ,you will find yourself in Jamaica sooner than later as this an amazing opportunity that you will never forget.

I feel s Students Crossing Borders is a great way to experience something different and learn new things. I feel as it would be rewarding and a wonderful opportunity for anyone who takes part. I myself wish I can take part in a rewarding experience like this in the near future. Is there going to be a Jamaica trip this year and if so how would I find out more information about it?

SCB is a great to experience something great and different , you do learn new things about yourself and you do start to get involve in the community and meet you people. The experience is like no other, you get to help out, bring your knowledge to the community and most importantly make connections in the different communities that you go in. The trips that are coming up are February 2014 , May 2014 which is for professionals or July 2014. You can get more information by contacting Caitlin who is one of the leaders at : caitlin.wood21@gmail.com. You hear doctors crossing borders, rarely students crossing borders until now. I do like this concept of it. I do believe that you gain a different type of experience that you will cherish. I have heard of the Jamaica trip, which I think it happens every year, I'm not too sure. Like Sumaiyah said where can we get more information about it?
